We are Airstream Owners like you and chose the Twin Bed Version of our International to have the trailer feel and function as large as possible. Besides, we wanted to use the twin bed area to also double as a lounge area…. until we experienced what we call… “The Twin Bed Slide” and the “Twin Bed Sag.”

So, to fix this problem for twin beds 2009 to present models, we teamed up with our amazing cabinet makers Ron and Dan to fix this “Twin Bed Slide” once and for all.

So, just before a weeklong trip we planned, Ron and Dan were able to create an amazing “Trestle” to support our twin mattresses.

These “Trestles” are a game changer. So now we are offering these game-changers to you, our fellow Airstream Owners. (Look us up… BRN 12884)

1. 1. Incredible Foundation
      1. We had the constant feeling of an unsupported mattress while sleeping. In the mornings, our bedding was on the floor and the mattress was hanging over the edge. Not any more!
   2. It’s a Math Problem
      1. Our original mattress of about 34″ was sitting on a flat 30″ “case.” Rocket scientists don’t need to look at those numbers and see there is a problem with that math formula. So we fixed the problem!
   3. Eliminate Movement
      1. With our Baltic Birch bed rail, the mattress and bedding are held in place while sleeping and during travel. No more bedding on the floor!
   4. Mold & Mildew
      1. Our “trestle” is CNC cut with high-quality ply to resist any mold and mildew. Because of the unique design, airflow is allowed to move freely under the mattress. These Trestles are fastened to your platforms using high quality screws.

      1. Our CNC cut Baltic Birch “Trestles” are hand-crafted by professional cabinet makers. With only two pieces, you can be assured they are rock-solid and put together with the best materials available. These Trestles feel more like furniture than a bed frame. We finish the Baltic Birch off with high-quality clear coat for an amazing finish. We do offer a matching Airstream laminate at an additional cost, but frankly, this laminate will not be seen. Our bedding covers the bed rails 99% of the time anyway.

Many people have asked us what you get with this purchase…. you are purchasing TWO Trestles to outfit both of your twin beds. If you only want or need one Trestle, please call or email and we can work with you on your needs.

Once you purchase this “free install” product, we will contact you for an installation date. We are currently booking appointments for local (within 50 miles of Clemson, South Carolina) for mid June 2025. Feel free to contact us if you need campground options in our area. We will have a webs page up shortly for campground options. If you want to stay between 50 and 100 miles away from Clemson, we charge an additional $50 for travel time and gas.

If you need your Trestles shipped to you, please select the “shipping” option. We know it’s a big number to ship, but we are charging actual shipping costs…. as you probably know, the costs for shipping have exploded and our Trestles are on the larger side for shipping. We don’t compromise the construction of the units to fit in a smaller box to reduce shipping costs.

Install time depends on several factors. If we need to remove and replace bedding, that can add more time. If you have removed bedding and the mattress, the installation time is well under an hour. In most cases, 15 to 30 minutes.
